The Aquarius Adventure Bath opened its doors at the end of October 2005 in Nyíregyháza-Sóstó Spa.
The new spa complex was built on a 1.7-hectare plot within the Park Bath area as part of the Széchenyi Plan tourism development program.
The centerpiece of the development is the further development of the current outdoor Park Bath with the establishment of a new, indoor, year-round adventure bath, which:
supplementing the current services, it provides preventive, health-preserving, and wellness services based on medicinal water and natural remedies all year round,
a unique, highly attractive offer is realized with highly attractive leisure and experience elements,
the offer of the multifunctional bath is in line with the spa culture of the region, serves as a suitable location for family programs, and with its design and services, ensures the joint relaxation and recreation of several generations.
Entrance area
The main entrance to the building opens from the promenade passing by the lakes, landscaped with decorative stone paving and aesthetic vegetation. The entrance area contains the reception area, the information, safe deposit box and cash desk with an access control system, and the spa shop. The changing rooms open from the reception area. The changing rooms have hairdryers.
The adventure bath is designed for people with disabilities.
The galleries above the pool areas in the bath building provide a view of the Sóstógyógyfürdő and the beautiful natural environment of the lake. Guests can enjoy the convenience of the self-service restaurant and the tropical bar.
During the summer, guests of the adventure bath can also use the services of the Park Bath.
